The 2020 Pumpkin Show in Circleville, Ohio was massively different than it's ever been. With the world dealing with a pandemic, the Circleville Pumpkin Show decided to cancel the annual event and only have a "drive-thru" event at the Pickaway County Fairgrounds. So we decided to create a small book to help children as they were dealing with the events of the day.
"First-grader, Mia was looking forward to being a part of “Little Miss” during the annual Pumpkin Show. Everything changed when a pandemic hit the world and the local Pumpkin Show was canceled for only the 4th time in its history. At that point Mia decides to have her own little Pumpkin Show...complete with her own “Little Miss Parade”.
The book was written by Christine Esteph and illustrated by Rachel Esteph (with a little help from from her siblings Isaac and Lyndsay).
