Description
Introduced back in 2006, this special “100th Anniversary Pumpkin Show Souvenir Playing Cards” is an historical deck of playing cards that highlights some of the first 50 years of the world-famous Pumpkin Show located in Circleville, Ohio.
As the Pumpkin Show celebrates its 100th Anniversary (1903-2006), this deck of cards helped celebrate the occasion back in 2006. The card back features a lighthearted painting from UK playing card artist, Peter Wood. The pumpkin scarecrow stands in front of the pumpkin tower and Ferris Wheel, which is located on North Court St. in downtown Circleville, Ohio. To add a different dimension, there are 100 tiny pumpkins hidden in the card back image to celebrate the 100th Pumpkin Show.
The face or numbered side of the cards features 54 unique Pumpkin Show photos from the first 50 years of the Pumpkin Show. Not only does each image give a glimpse of where the Pumpkin Show has come from, but it is designed the way “souvenir” playing cards used to be printed with round photos, historical facts and fun information on the faces.
We are down to the very bottom of this stock, and 2026 will mark the 20th anniversary of the deck! If you haven’t picked up a deck, yet, this is your chance to get the deck at a great price. If you already have this deck, this is a great chance to get a second deck before they are GONE FOREVER!
We are currently selling Edition 2.0. Edition 1 was released toward the end of September 2006 but sold out before the Pumpkin Show started. The 2nd edition we are currently selling had minor changes and corrections, but this is still from what we had back in 2006.
