Each year for the Circleville Pumpkin Show we try to create some type of game, puzzle, dice game or something. This year we went a little more traditional and created the 2011 Circleville Pumpkin Show Souvenir Deck. Normally we create the fancy decks with card faces that were unique in some way. The problem then is we kept having folks wanting us to create a “normal” souvenir deck of cards that they could use for everyday purposes. So that’s what we did. We created the 2011 Pumpkin Show deck with a unique card back design showing a view of the Pickaway County Courthouse behind a view of a Ferris wheel. Most of the card faces are “normal”, but we just could not resist on the jokers, so we put a unique photo of the 2 famous pumpkin “towers” on 2 of them. One of the jokers is the “Pumpkin Water Tower” that you can see as you approach Circleville. The other joker features a view of the “pumpkin tower” that is built on the streets during the Pumpkin Show.
