This “Soldier’s Deck of Cards” celebrates the 200 year old story told about a soldier who has a deck of cards that tells him/her stories from the Bible or reminds the soldier of God. Each card face in the deck has century old art to help tell the stories that were told by the numbered or court cards.
Although recent events have inspired an e-mail-circulated version featuring a soldier serving in Afghanistan, the tale about a serviceman using a deck of ordinary playing cards as an aid to prayer and meditation dates at least to at least 1788. The popular song Deck of Cards (sometimes known as “A Soldier’s Prayer Book”) was written in 1948 by “T.” Texas Tyler and was recorded by (among others) Tex Ritter in 1948, Wink Martindale in 1959, and Bill Anderson in 1991. The song itself was based on a tract that was found sandwiched between the sheets of an old 1811 bible.
So whether you are a soldier, Christian, or both, you will enjoy this unique deck of cards. Also a great idea to send as a gift to a active members of our military.
Sorry, at this time we are unable to ship to foreign military bases.

What a great choice of “capitalism” in today’s uncertainty with this current leadership.
And
